Vanilla Matcha Overnight Oats
These overnight oats are full of protein (15 g), fibre (11 g) and low in sugar (2 g) when made with unsweetened plant milk. But diary milk is perfectly fine too!
Yields one serving
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk or unsweetened plant milk (I used Silk Unsweetened Soy Milk)
- 1 teaspoon Matcha powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- For a sweeter treat, add 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey, or fruit.
- Add all ingredients into a bowl and stir until combined. Portion into a mason jar or an air tight container and store in the fridge overnight to let it set.
Nutritional Information: when made with unsweetened soy milk, however, if made with diary, the nutritional information would be quite similar.
